A blue Ugly Face. I used PCBs from PCBWay.com and put everything into a blue powder-coated enclosure from Tayda.
I wanted to put some blue knobs on this enclosure but didn’t have any on hand. I didn’t want to place an order for four knobs. Looking through my parts bin, I found these pink aluminum knobs that seem to work well.
I milled this enclosure on my desktop mill. The design was an experiment to do something artful with geometric patterns.
I used a 3PDT PCB switch from LoveMySwitches.com wired to the board with a short piece of ribbon cable. This makes for a nice clean build. The little PCB has connections for the LED and resistor. I used some jumpers in these since the PCB has LED and a resistor mounted to it. With both of these boards, you could put the LED on either.
