This is a Rat Clone. I made this with an LM308 in a “can”, the TO-99 package. I also used a DeMont 3PDT. This is a high quality switch that is rated to last for 200,000+ cycles. Those standard blue foot switches often break or go intermittent.
The TO-99 LM308 has a great sound. These are not common, and to be honest, I’ve never seen an original Rat that used one of these. Pro Co seems to have only used the LM308 in the DIP 8 package.
